This 2009 Admiral 40 3 cabin owners version can only be described as to be in very neat condition having been beautifully appointed and maintained by her owners who have lived aboard since her launch.
She has an extensive cruising record having spent a number of years crossing the Indian ocean from South Africa to the Far East and back again. On her return her owners have continued living aboard as they where planning on embarking on the next part of their cruising life, this time heading West across the Atlantic. Due to this she was comprehensively upgraded in 2019 – 2020 in preparation for the next adventure. Sadly this is where Covid stepped in and the owners plans have needed to be amended. A detailed list of the upgrades is available. This process cost in the vicinity of R 500 000 which included both primary engines being overhaul by the Yanmar agents as well as new North sails (Main, Roller furling Genoa & Code 65)
As part of her extensive inventory she is equipped with a generator, water maker, washing machine, 3 air conditioners, electric primary winch and battcar main sail track.
In summary she would be a step aboard and go and thus if you are in the market for a cruising catamaran in this class I would like to suggest that you put her on your to view list.
