This vessel was purchased as a complete trawler in Namibia. At this point she was shipped down to the highly respected Jacobs brothers aluminium boat yard in Cape Town who then proceeded to gut and strip her down to bare fibre glass. This allowed the Jacobs brothers the flexibility in design that was required to fulfil her owners requirement for an open ocean capable house boat. As would be expected the scale of the project was significant with it being finally completed in July 2017. This included the overhauling of the engine, drive train and steering. It could be said that this put her in as close to new condition as possible. Sadly for her owners the regulations at their chosen marina changed which did not allow them the option of living aboard her as originally envisaged and thus with much regret she is being put on the market.
