    This Africat 380 is in very neat condition and appears to have been well maintained. She is the 4 double cabin with two heads version. These vessels were designed as no compromise long range sport & leisure cruisers. They have a single helm station on the fly bridge which includes U shape seating for one’s guests. This position gives the skipper a magnificent view of the aft deck and over view of the vessel and surrounds.
    The fore deck is spacious with plenty of space for the storage of the tender which is launched and retrieved with the aid of the foredeck crane.
    The aft deck is surrounded by high gunnels which give one a good sense of safety particularly when working with powerful fish. There are numerous rod holders & rocket launchers to securely hold the tackle in place. To ensure quality live bait there is a live well with water circulation as well as work surface which includes a sink. From a relaxation point of view there is a lovely under cover aft deck table with surround seating conveniently close to the ice machine.
    Moving through to the saloon, up forred we find the saloon table with U shaped bench seating with the galley aft port & work station with electronic control panels starboard aft.
    The hulls are mirror images of each other with cabins in the bow and stern with the heads midships.
    From a power perspective she is driven by 2 x Volvo Penta D6 diesels delivering the power to the Volvo Penta IPS forward facing duoprop drive system. According to her skipper she runs beautifully at around 16 knots and tops out in the early 20’s
