    The FAREAST 31R is an all carbon fibre construction (hull & deck). This makes her extremely light and manoeuvrable thus returning very high hull speeds. The 1200 kg lead ballast provides an impressive 60% ballast ratio. Selden’s carbon mast and double back-stays combined with the hidden running rigging and one-step spinnaker hoisting system further improves her performance sailing characteristics.
